Be it tandem skydiving or paragliding; some people just love to live dangerously. However, those who are familiar with these adventurous sports will tell you that these are not dangerous. In fact, they will travel around the world to choose the perfect location to have this breathtaking experience.

In this blog, you will get to know some of the best sites to skydive and enjoy the scenic beauty. Imagine how wild it would be if you get to see Mt. Everest or the Alps as you begin your descent from 10,000 feet above the surface.

1. Palm Jumeirah, Dubai

Dubai is a relative newcomer among the world’s leading skydiving zones. But it is slowly doing rounds among the skydiving enthusiasts by hosting one of the largest annual international skydive competitions. The event is funded by The Emirates Aerosport Federation (EAF) and Skydive Dubai. Dubai is a city jump, unlike the other drop zones on this list.

The scenic beauty is other-worldly. You will be flying over the Palm Jumeirah. This is an artificial archipelago made of reclaimed land that juts out from Dubai’s urban marina. What’s more? You get a breathtaking view of the Persian Gulf and the entire Dubai.

However, the skydiving cost is quite expensive. It will cost you around $530.

2. Everest, Nepal

Mount Everest is considered to be the world’s most spectacular spots for skydiving. The main reason is the elevation, as Mt. Everest is the highest mountain above sea level (29,031.69 feet).Dropping out of a plane 23,000 feet above sea level is no joke. Then again, this sport is not for the faint-hearted. You will get to view the incredible snow-covered Himalayas in Nepal, and that is an unparalleled experience.

As you fall through the clouds, you land at one of the two spots. It might be Ama Dablam Base Camp (15,000 ft above sea level). Or, you might land at Syangboche Airport (12,340 ft above sea level). If you are writing an essay on skydiving, then include the destinations mentioned here. If you struggle to write it, seek assignment help from experts.

But, it costs a fortune to have the experience. You need to pay around $25,000 for the best experience. However, it includes an 11-day trek, two tandem skydives, and much more.

3. Fox Glacier, New Zealand

In New Zealand, you get the whole package: picturesque lakes, Franz Josef and Fox glaciers, stunning rainforests. Moreover, you can visit the Tasman Sea.  New Zealand is the mecca for extreme sports and perhaps the best country in the world for skydiving. You get to enjoy a plethora of breathtakingly stunning drop zones.

Fox Glacier is an 8-mile-long glacier situated in the rugged Westland Tai Poutini National Park on New Zealand’s South Island. It is a perennial favourite among Kiwis and skydivers across the world. You can jump from a height of 9,000 ft to 16,500 ft.

The skydiving cost is around $1000 for four people.

4. Hawaii, the USA

If you are an Eco-warrior, then you would prefer Hawaii. Are you aware of the fact that skydiving operations use energy-efficient planes to reduce the carbon footprint by 40%? It is a paradise for the skydivers, especially if you choose Waialua. As you jump from the plane, you get to see colored coastlines, awe-inspiring volcano sites, palm tree-lined valleys, and much more.

Famous destinations will also be visible like Diamond Head, Pearl Harbor, Kaena Point. Skydiving in Hawaii will present you with wonderful memories that you can cherish for the rest of your life. Besides Waialua, you can also take the leap from Oahu, Kauai, which is another fantastic location.

The total cost is around $250, if you choose Farrington Hwy, Waialua as your location.

5. Interlaken, Switzerland

If Everest is your first choice, then the Alps should be your second. Interlaken has a long history as a center for adventure sports, and many divers consider it to be one of Europe’s most scenic drop zones. Interlaken skydiving is a challenge for beginners and seasoned divers alike. As far as the view is concerned, get ready to be stupefied.

As you begin your descent, you get to see Italy, France, Germany, and Austria past the snow-capped peaks of the Matterhorn in the Alps and Jungfrau. You can gaze at the lofty peaks of Eiger, Monch, and see Lake Thun and Lake Brienz as well.

If you are interested in skydiving here, it would cost you around $420 to $450.

6. North Wollongong Beach, Australia

People enjoy skydive as they like the free fall, the thrill of jumping from 10,000 to 20,000 feet, and for the view. The joy of seeing the world from the viewpoint of a bird is amplified when that view involves the Australian coastline. You get to see the Sydney shoreline, with surfers enjoying themselves. You will fortunate to see whales and dolphins frolicking in the deep blue waters.

The skydivers are allowed to land on the beach itself. So, after your tandem or solo skydiving, you can immediately go for a swim. In your essay, do not forget to mention this destination.

If you are wondering about the cost of skydiving, then you would be happy to know that it is around $250.

7. Mauritius

Mauritius is a dream vacation spot with gorgeous white sand beaches. It is an island off the southeast coast of Africa in the Indian Ocean, and is mostly seen as a honeymoon or luxury destination. But one can definitely have an adventurous trip and, at the same time, bask in the natural aesthetics of the country.

You will get to view shallow lagoons, reefs, and mountainous rain forests.  This will all be visible during the free fall. The view is spectacular, when you get to see the ocean bathed in sunshine, the beaches sparkling, and rain forests all around.

If you are wondering about the skydiving expense, you will be pleased to know that it costs $380.

After going through the blog, you would have understood that these destinations are not only meant for skydiving, but are equally good tourist spots. So, if you are planning to skydive, then take a week off from your work and enjoy your vacation thoroughly.
