During difficult times like these, the only way to communicate with people is through our mobile phones.

  • How do we conduct meetings?
  • How will educational organizations teach students?
  • How do you shop together with your friends?
  • How will you work together with your team?
  • How will you collaborate on projects with your colleagues?

The solution to all of these problems is screen sharing and TechiePlus can tell you more about it. Here are the top 5 picks of the best screen sharing apps for your android phones to work smoothly without any interruptions.

1. SKYPE

Skype is one of the most popular apps used worldwide. It is a part of Microsoft and is famous for audio and video calls.

Almost everyone is familiar with Skype and its usage.

For using a Skype account, all you need is an internet connection, a Microsoft account, and the latest version of Skype.

One of the best things about Skype is that it is free of cost.

Skype to Skype calls are free, but for calling a landline or mobile, it incurs a small amount.

One of the best features is that you can use your custom backgrounds while on a call, which is very fun to use.

Its screen sharing feature makes communication with people much more accessible. Up to 50 members can be added at once.

Meetings, PowerPoint presentations, videos, photos, and many more can be shared with others.

The time limit on group video calls is 100 hours per month.

The time limit per day is 10 hours for group calling and 4 hours for individual calls.

Files till 300MB can be shared on the call by simply dragging and dropping the data in the conversation.

The recording feature helps record everything on the screen along with the audio for reviewing it later. The information saved is wholly secured and stays for 30days in the storage.

2. GOOGLE MEET

Anyone with an account on Google can use Google to meet. Gmail is one of the most commonly used accounts for mails.

Up to 100 members can be added for free. No limits are there on the number of meetings. The video quality is excellent.

It is easy to make presentations and collaborate on documents with other participants. Live messaging in the chatbox is also available. Video calling your family, friends, and colleagues is made easy. In the free plan, up to 100 members can be added, but the meeting time is only one-hour maximum. For the participation of above 100 members and for 300 hours of meeting time, the amount to be paid starts from 700 Indian rupees. Google safeguards its user’s privacy.

With Google’s speech recognition technology, everything that a person speaks comes as live captions. For speakers who don’t understand a language, participants who have a hearing disability or if you’re in a place with a lot of noise due to which you aren’t able to hear anything, the live captions will help understand the content.

3. ZOOM

Zoom is an American communications technology company.

The client requires a version of above 5.0 to join the meeting.

When any video is shared through the screen sharing feature, the audio will not be heard.

Photos, documents, dropbox, and many more can be shared with everyone on the call. The meeting time is up to 40 minutes on group meetings but unlimited on one on one session when used for free. The maximum participants are 100 in the open plan.

An unlimited number of meetings are available with various features like video conferencing, web conferencing, and group collaborations. For more features, the basic paid plan starts at 1450 Indian rupees.

4. TEAMVIEWER

This app is mainly used for webinars and online meetings. This app makes it easier to get technical assistance. It is beneficial for people in business, but it can also be used for personal needs. It supports HD Audio and Video and 256-bit AES encryption. From any part of the world, no matter where you are traveling, a team viewer helps you connect with people and collaborate. For a single user, the price is 1350 in Indian rupees per month. Only one device can be activated in this plan, and the maximum number of participants is 5. There can be only one licensed user. There are higher prices for multi-users and teams.

Even the highest cost allows only up to 25 meeting participants, but the features are much more.

5. SQUAD

The squad has the potential to be a top-rated application among teenagers. It helps you connect with your friends. Instead of just video calling, it enables you to share what’s on your phone screen with your friends. For instance, if you want to browse through memes together, work on projects together, buy any item online together while asking each other’s opinions, or if you’re going to play games together, there is no better application than this. This app is not for work-related use. Instead, it is a platform for teenagers and young adults to get together.

The selfie camera is similar to Snapchat. But it doesn’t let you download videos of your chats and gives screenshot warnings due to privacy concerns.

The maximum number of people that can be on a call together is 9. As this is a comparatively new app, many features are not yet available. All our favorite apps, such as YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, can be browsed.

The Bottom Line

Choosing the best screen sharing app, which is suitable for your needs, is a challenge, primarily because there are various apps developed now.

Hopefully, this article helps you find the best one, which satisfies all your demands.

Thank you!
