Don’t overcook it to keep its nutrients safe. You can eat the raw broccoli as well.

It has sulfur-containing compounds which help to boost your immune system. and also provides many other benefits like it can reduce blood pressure levels and also helps to fight heart diseases. Blueberries contain antioxidants that can help to boost the immune system. It contains a type of flavonoids called anthocyanin. The studies have shown that these flavonoids are important for respiratory tracts’ immune defense system. Blueberries contain fiber, potassium, folate, vitamin C, vitamin B6, and phytonutrients. Blueberries support your heart health. Eating 150g of Blueberries every day can reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease by up to 15 percent. You can add blueberries to your breakfast.

4. Spinach

Spinach is a very good source of vitamin c. It also contains antioxidants and beta carotene that can boost the infection-fighting ability of our immune system. Spinach helps to maintain blood pressure and improves eyesight. It is also very helpful in reducing inflammation. Like Broccoli, you should not overcook the Spinach. You can consume raw spinach in a salad or you can boil it for 2-3 min and then consume it.

Almond is rich in vitamin E which helps to boost your immune system. It is one of the best foods that you can add to your daily nutrition. Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin and it requires fat to be absorbed properly. Almond is a good source of healthy fats and 46 whole shelled almonds can provide you almost 100 percent of the recommended daily amount of vitamin E and help you to fight heart diseases.

6. Red bell pepper

Red bell pepper is a very good source of vitamin C which is very helpful in boosting your immune system. It is very helpful for those people who try to avoid the sugar content of fruits. It also contains beta carotene which helps to keep your skin and eyes healthy. Stir-frying or roasting can preserve the nutrients of the red bell pepper.

7. Ginger

Ginger is used in different cuisines. People use ginger for cooking a variety of dishes and desserts. Ginger is also used for making teas and detox drinks. Ginger has antioxidative properties and it can help you to fight from high cholesterol. It helps to reduce the soreness in your throat and offers many other anti-inflammatory properties as well.
